Tång, which means seaweed in Swedish, is one of many outcomes of an explorational process which was implemented in a glass blowing workshop at The Glass Factory 2018. I had the privilige of working with two exceptional glass blowers at the occasion, Louis Thompson UK, and Emma Baker UK.
The experiments were all connected and inspired by seaweed and the texture on this particular vase is just stunning. It gives us a glimpse of the traces from the beach it origins from. Tång is an exclusive series of vases, all original in their own trace-memory of seaweed.
